After the Santiago Abascal profile, this twelfth profile completes the series' symmetry proof: the same 17 crises, the same rules, applied to the president of the Rassemblement National. The result confirms the founding thesis — selective attention is a structure, not a camp's vice — with the French specificities of the mirror.
Jordan Bardella has led the Rassemblement National since November 2022 — the youngest party leader in this series, MEP since 2019, tweeting since 2013. As with Abascal, his output on international crises is a minority in a massively domestic account: 156 tweets on Israel/Palestine against 190 for the other sixteen crises combined — without the left's Israeli-Palestinian monoculture, but with the same distribution grammar.
| Crisis | Scale (reference) | Tweets in 13 years |
|---|---|---|
| Israel/Palestine (full conflict) | ~70,000 dead in Gaza + 1,200 on 7-Oct | 156 |
| Ukraine — Russian invasion | ~500,000 casualties, 6M refugees | 79 |
| Syria — civil war | ~500,000 dead, 13M displaced | 50 |
| Mali/Sahel | Jihadist massacres | 21 |
| Karabakh/Armenians | 100,000 expelled in 2023 | 18 |
| Afghanistan | Gender apartheid since 2021 | 16 |
| Iran — repression (Amini 2022 + Jan 2026) | Thousands dead | 5 |
| Uyghurs | Over a million interned | 1 |
| Yemen, Sudan, Tigray, Rohingya, Boko Haram, Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Hong Kong | — | 0 |
The same day of the attack, Bardella writes what none of the ten left-wing leaders in this series wrote: "Soutien à Israël... confronté à une attaque terroriste et islamiste de grande ampleur, coordonnée par le Hamas" (4,773 likes). And the mirror installs itself the same day: his second tweet of 7-Oct already targets "islamo-gauchistes"; by the 9th, the sequence shifts to immigration and AME. 35% of his 134 post-7-Oct tweets on the conflict mention domestic adversaries.
The word "terrorist" appears in 274 of his tweets — Islamism, attacks in France, political adversaries. His only reaction to a supremacist attack of the decade — Hanau, 2020, nine dead — deserves to be quoted in full for its caution: "Disgust and consternation after this folie meurtrière in Germany, with motivations that seem to be political." A "folie meurtrière" — not an attack; motivations "that seem to be" political — politics twice softened; neither "terrorist" nor "far right." Christchurch: zero tweet. The contrast published in this series: Danièle Obono wrote "attack by a far-right terrorist, white supremacist" (Buffalo).
Amini 2022: zero — like Abascal. But January 2026 produced five substantive tweets BEFORE the war — "a deep challenge to an obscurantist regime," "we welcome this freedom movement" (12 January), "only maintained by repression and fear" (22 January), "France and Europe must denounce the extremely brutal repression" (2 February). More substantial than Abascal (whose 2 tweets attacked the left). During the war: constant hostility to the regime ("theocratic, Islamist, terrorist") + scepticism about the strikes + "French interests" compass.
His relationship to the hostages is real and sustained — emotion at the release of the three French children (November 2023), mourning for Elya Toledano, "the first condition for a ceasefire is obviously the release of the hostages." His Armenian commitment is real and annual (sanctions demanded since 2020, commemorations of the 1915 genocide). And his five January 2026 tweets on Iran are genuine — the second of the series' two symmetry proofs.
Complete archive of @J_Bardella (18,129 tweets, 10 June 2013 – 14 July 2026). This profile analyzes exclusively the official public account @J_Bardella. Correction: Iran count 0→5 after manual reading of January-February 2026 tweets. The Kylian Mbappé retweet captured by the API (1.8M likes) is excluded.
