Manuel Bompard is LFI's national coordinator and MP for Marseille. His account, opened in May 2011, accumulates 21,108 tweets. He matters because he is the only one of the twelve profiles to have crossed the line that none of the others crossed: on 9 October 2023, he condemned Hamas's attack using the vocabulary the rest of the political family rejected — "spread terror," "barbaric acts." What his exceptions do is reveal with greater clarity that his silences are choices.

Amini 2022: zero — like all the Spanish profiles. But January 2026 produced the most sustained reaction of the twelve profiles: "Long live the courage of the Iranian people!" (1 January), "total solidarity... with the Woman, Life, Freedom movement" (8 January), "neither the mullahs nor the Shah" (12 January), a meeting dedicated "to the Iranian people who show immense courage in the face of ferocious repression" (15 January), a demand to convene the UN Security Council (1 February), and Khamenei called "criminal, executioner of the Iranian people" at his death (1 March). Seven substantive tweets in three months — the France-Spain divergence of January 2026, at its maximum.
Precisely because Bompard crossed the line that none of the others crossed, his silences weigh more. Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua: zero condemnations of repression. Gaza civilians: zero mentions (the same structural zero as Abascal, in the opposite direction). And on Hamas: his condemnation of 7 October uses "spread terror" and "barbaric acts" — not the noun "terrorist" — maintaining the lexical reservation that runs through the whole political family.
Bompard condemned the October 7 attack more clearly than any other leader in the series. His January 2026 Iranian record is the most substantial of the twelve. He covered Assad's fall with a clear condemnation of the dictatorship. And his 65 Ukraine tweets include unambiguous condemnation of the aggressor from day one.
